Richards of Grand Rapids, Michigan, one of which describes reaction in Grand Rapids to President Abraham Lincoln's assassination, and letter of Alfred S. Richards expressing his hope of being mustered out. Of the army where he was serving on Company D, Engineers and Mechanics.
